His breathing is low, and the feel of his hand on skin is warm where once she would have thought him cold. Ice, his heart is ice, but his mouth invites her, and she lets him feed her lies.
(His touch is soft, too, softer than she'd have thought, ashamed that she would want to know.)
"Snake," she hisses, but her heart isn't in it, and Grima laughs, with his twisted serpent's tongue, and his shadow dark eyes, pressing Eowyn back into the cool but constricting comfort of the bed.
"But my lady," he says, and she is furious, furious that her skin aches for his touch, still, after they have spent themselves, furious that he can see that want; and that he responds to it, molding his hands against bare flesh.
She hisses, but it is in pleasure, the feel of Grima's hand moving against aching flesh. "You and your lies," she gasps, and Grima slowly, sweetly kisses her lips.
"You wished for my company, my lady."
And this is no lie, and Eowyn sinks back, the feel of Grima's body pressed close. She tilts her head, looking at the closed door, wishing to cry for (For what? For help? You silly woman, you brought this upon yourself), to cry out, but she chokes on it, and sinks into the feel of Grima's hands, and Grima's lips, moving against her.
"Just let me love you," he whispers, and Eowyn closes her eyes, arching against the bed, and under Grima's touch, his lips smoothing over the line of her collarbone, following the swell of one breast.
A harsh cry, and she grips his shoulders, and he works his mouth upon her, sucking on a throbbing nipple, one sly hand pressing fingers into the warmth between her legs.
"No, no."
Yes.
